iPAWD thrives to offer healthy, nutritious and affordable pet nutrition and wellness products.  We offer only products that we ourselves would feed or use on our own pets.  Our committment to our products is therefore given a stamp of approval by our rigid standards and that of our own four-legged family members.

About us
iPAWD began like many other pet companies with one exception.  While we got our start looking for good quality food to feed our award winning Australian Shepherds, we also had an advantage that most people did not.  With our very own family warehousing and distribution company here in Ottawa, we were able to tie our love of animals with the work we do every day.  Gary Goyette, President of iPAWD has a family run human food business that does deliveries in and around the Ottawa valley.  The warehousing business consists of 6 refrigerated trucks (vans up to tractor trailers) with a 8000sq foot warehouse encompassing 1500sq feet of frozen storage and 1000sq feet of refrigerated storage. Traditionally, the warehousing business revolved around the 'human' food service industry, working with the likes of National Grocers, Loblaw Co. and Loeb to name a few. Gary and his partner Sandra Czarny were (and still are) heavily involved with a number of dog associations and clubs in and around the city. In fact as breeders of Australian Shepherds and committed to rescuing homeless dogs and cats (in addition to their Australian Shepherds, their own family is made up of 3 rescued cats, a rescued Dalmatian and a rescued German Shorthair Pointer), Gary and Sandra were (and still are) involved in all things pet related. It was a vision of theirs for some time to blend their passion for dogs with a business opportunity. Thus, the creation of iPAWD. 

Gary and Sandra have been feeding their own homemade raw food for years.  When they were introduced to a number of premium lines of foods that they were not only impressed with the ingredients but also that they themselves would feed their dogs, they knew that they wanted to be a leader in pet nutrition.  The products iPAWD offers are of the highest quality and the companies iPAWD choses to represent meet iPAWDS overall vision of providing healthy, nutritious and top quality foods for pets.  iPAWD only represents the food that they themselves feed to their own animals.

Gary has 20 plus years experience in the warehouse and distribution business.  Sandra is a lawyer member of the Ontario Bar Association.  Sandra is also a Certified Professional Dog Trainer/Behavior Therapist with Canine Communications Studies Inc.  Both of them are committed to the pet industry and enjoy their spare time with their "fur" kids.
